Qatar Airways have embarked on an exciting transformation journey to change how we interact with our customers. As part of this journey, we are now recruiting for the role of Senior Commercial Business Intelligence Analyst.
Based in New York, you will be responsible for supporting revenue performance within the Americas focusing on structural and tactical initiatives encompassing fare products, incentive programs and tactics across the Americas. You will monitor and Analyse returns on individual revenue-steering actions to drive continuous improvement and recalibration of tactics, products and incentive/sales programs. You will communicate with the Sales and Marketing teams to drive focus in areas of opportunity, providing insights on key performance indicators on spanet trends, products/incentive performance and tactical initiatives across distribution channels. You will act as the performance owner of the assigned demand segment (s) and provides recommendation on improvement initiatives.

Specific Accountabilities include:
- Lead analysis of revenue data to identify improvement opportunities for campaigns, structural fare products and incentive programs.
- Lead communication with Sales and Marketing teams to drive focus in areas of opportunity, providing insights on key performance indicators on spanet trends, products/incentive performance and tactical initiatives specific to the segment(s) of responsibility, across all distribution channels.
- Lead communication with HQ on structural and tactical products and fares.
- Lead commercial projects to improve sales effectiveness by setting the project objectives and measuring performance improvement.
- Communicate with the regional office and country leaders in executing CBI strategy.
- Research both large scale industry trends as well as new business opportunities to understand best practices and how revenue can be increased.
- Train junior staff in analytics, tools and modelling across any required analytical tasks.
- Form deep understanding of allocated spanet segment, customer behavior and according spanet opportunities; define action plans to extract incremental value where possible.
- Structure and run any complex analysis required including network gauging and connectivity, post-mortems; build templates to allow for efficient repetition of any analysis performed.
- Initiate forming close relationships and direct communication channels with all relevant Field and Head Office stakeholders; educate Field and HO where required pertaining to analytical based decision making and risk evaluation .
- Develop and implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all interested parties updated in project progress.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will the following qualifications below:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
- PC literate with knowledge of Word / PowerPoint / Excel / Outlook
- Work Experience in managing (Processing and analyzing) voluminous data
- Experience in deriving insights from data and submitting actionable recommendations to management
- The ideal candidate should have working knowledge of the following tools: Tableau, Google Data Studio (GDS), Power BI, and/ or Salesforce
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
