We are seeking experienced Avionics Modification Technicians to support the RAPCON-X program, a specialized ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) aircraft modification effort. This role involves performing hands-on installations, system integrations, and functional testing of advanced avionics systems on military-configured platforms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform modification, integration, and testing of mission-critical avionics systems on special mission aircraft.
- Install wiring harnesses, connectors, antennas, sensors, LRUs, and cockpit avionics.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Execute work in accordance with FAA, military, and OEM specifications.
- Document maintenance and modification activities accurately and in real-time.
- Conduct continuity checks, operational tests, and troubleshooting using test equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and program leads to ensure timely completion of aircraft readiness.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- 6+ years of experience performing avionics modifications or installations on military or special mission aircraft.
- Proficient with crimping, soldering, wire routing, and LRU integration.
- Familiar with FAA 145 repair station or military aviation standards.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings, schematics, and installation manuals.
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal avionics training or A&P certification is a plus.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment 10-year Federal Criminal Background Check, standard FAA DOT drug test, and basic health physical.
- Reliable personal transportation/vehicle required.
- Proof of US citizenship.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- MUST have basic tools/box.
