Summary:
Sets up and conducts tests on electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassemblies based on defined methods, standards, and procedures.
Assembles units per design specifications, adjusts/calibrates systems, and corrects malfunctions by replacing components or making adjustments as directed.
Perform testing and troubleshooting down to the component level using schematics (analog and digital circuits)
Use hand tools and measurement devices including DMMs, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and frequency standards
Assist in the development of new test procedures and recommend design/manufacturing improvements
Approve and suggest modifications to test equipment; analyze test results for product performance evaluation
Support quality checks per process control procedures and statistical methods
Work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment to meet delivery schedules
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent plus specialized technical training (Associate degree level)
1+ year of relevant technical experience
Minimum 1 year of experience testing electronic assemblies
Proficient in troubleshooting solid-state and digital circuits at the component level
Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and electronic data collection tools
Experience with flying probe and high-power testing
Familiarity with radar systems
Experience with vibration and thermal ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) for CCAs and subassemblies
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
