Role Introduction
Reports To: Strategic Employee Engagement Manager
As a delivery-focused individual, you will work with the Employee Engagement team to execute engagement campaigns and events. Your key focus will be to improve the employee experience and drive engagement across our varied employee groups in our home base, Hong Kong, and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Employee Engagement team to execute and organize our yearly calendar of employee engagement activities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and logistics support for all our engagement activities and events for the team’s success, including venue bookings and set up arrangements for in-house events
- Administer Cathay’s sports and interest clubs, provide guidance and support to club members, and promote club activities to employees
- Represent the Company at the Swire Hong Kong Staff Association committee and external forums such as Inter-Hong and relevant associations to organise and promote different activities and events for our employees and enhance Company image
- Support on enhancing the framework for employee offers, and provide guidance on the employee offers selection process
- Provide support for Cathay’s global employee recognition programme, including the management of toolkits, website and reporting
- Contribute to content creation to promote engagement activities and facilitate communication with stakeholders and participants
- Support the broader Internal Communications and Engagement team on projects as required
- Monitor trends to sharpen skills and remain proficient with current technology and software to recommend creative approaches to improve new and/or existing engagement challenges
- Support on reporting for events and initiatives and monitor inventory for prize items and souvenirs for internal campaigns and undertake ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Degree holder with a minimum of 2 years in communications, engagement, event or related roles
- Experience managing and executing projects and/or events
- Strong communication and presentation skills and project management skills
- Knowledge of spaneting, event management and/or communications theories, models and trends
- Solid collaboration skills and vendor/agency liaison experience
- A Self-motivator, proactive, high drive and strong energy
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Outstanding customer service and team working skills
- Able to work under pressure and attention to details
- Excellent command of written and spoken English. Cantonese advantageous
