Essential Responsibilities
Collaborate with GE Aerospace design communities in the development and life management approaches and support life methods for Avio Aero components.
Execution and leadership of tasks with a primary focus area of life management for military and commercial applications.
Participate in technology maturation working with business leaders to initiate and drive new technology programs in computational or experimental methods for the design and lifing of engine components.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with both internal and external organizations to accelerate and expand the ability to deliver new technology in primary focus areas to our business customers.
Qualifications/Requirements
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or related discipline with proved experience in an industrial environment.
Experience in applied fracture mechanics and damage model development.
Experience in developing life prediction models and methods.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work across all functions/departments as part of a team.
Fluent in English.
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
