KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate aircraft parts requirements for all aircraft in Base Maintenance
- Act as focal point between Engineering and Supply Chain and streamlining interdepartmental communication
- Coordinating with maintenance team, maintaining material delivery schedules for each ongoing project
- Prioritise and coordinate material requirements in line with date required on site (DROS)
- Ensure open work orders are closed on completion of maintenance
- Ensure accurate and current material shipping/status information is distributed to key stakeholders
Activity/Forecast & Performance Reporting
- Liaise with Engineering management to highlight where DROS dates will impact the scheduled maintenance plan
- Run shortage reports from SAP and report/manage data to key stakeholders;
- Work with Maintenance Check Leads to provide clear status summaries for engineering management
Manage Information
- Understand risk to aircraft maintenance schedule and report issues quickly;
- React to requests for support and information promptly.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: (minimum education requirements, key skills and experience)
Qualifications:
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
Understanding and knowledge of:
- ERP systems;
- Strong Admin experience;
- MS Office (Excel).
- Previous experience of working in a fast moving, demanding organisation.
Skills:
- Able to demonstrate the ability to identify risk and deal with issues in an effective manner, and to be capable of dealing with critical issues that occur;
- A good communicator, able to develop relationships, who is organised and analytical;
- Good IT skills in MS Excel, Word and Power Point;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate at senior level;
- Effective interpersonal skills to develop internal and external relationships;
- Ability to act proactively and prioritise work with limited supervision;
