Responsibilities
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Position will be based at Parflex’s divisional headquarters in Ravenna, Ohio.
- Will be responsible to manage and complete projects assigned by Engineers and direct Supervisor in a safe and timely manner.
- Participate on new product development and problem-solving teams.
- Work and communicate with product, quality and manufacturing engineers.
- Provide support to product engineers and lab personal performing tasks that include sample preparation, testing, and equipment improvements and troubleshooting.
- Utilize computer software to generate engineering reports.
- Complete any other similar or associated duties necessary to accomplish job objectives, or as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or Polymer Engineering.
- Strong analytical, mechanical conceptualization, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
- Detail oriented individual with demonstrated organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently (with minimal supervision) and within a team environment.
- Must have a desire to continuously learn, grow, and develop skills and knowledge.
