Our client is seeking experienced Interior Installers to support aircraft refurbishment and modification projects at their Bangor, ME location. This role involves the installation, removal, adjustment, and repair of aircraft interior components, ensuring all work is completed to exacting standards for safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Remove, install, and repair aircraft interior furnishings including panels, seats, carpeting, galleys, lavatories, and other cabin components
Perform layout and fitment of custom cabin modifications using drawings and blueprints
Ensure alignment and secure installation of interior parts using proper hardware and fasteners
Perform minor upholstery and finishing tasks such as trimming, padding, and surface touch-up
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for installation tasks
Document work completed in accordance with FAA and Client guidelines
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards
Collaborate with team members and support departments to meet project timelines
Requirements 2+ years of aircraft interior installation or modification experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and installation manuals
Experience with corporate and/or regional aircraft interiors a plus
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Familiarity with FAA regulations and MRO documentation practices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces
Must have own basic hand tools
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
