JOB TITLE: Component Coating Technician
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $23/hour

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 2nd Shift 4/10 Schedule: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM EST (OT available on weekends

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Assemble components using diagrams, drawings, hand/power tools, jigs, and saws
Make initial layouts and continuity checks on in-process and completed work
Conduct quality inspections per established specifications
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies
Follow and complete work instructions; contribute to process improvements
Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the coating process
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to read and interpret CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines)
Experience with masking and protecting parts during coating processes
Apply thermal barrier coatings using manual, semi-automatic, or robotic spray systems
Must be able to read and write in English
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices
Ability to work independently and within a team
Basic computer proficiency
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-precision environment
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
