What You Will Do:
- Prepares and pack orders for shipment. Assembles orders, checks against customer order and reports incomplete orders. Selects appropriate shipping containers and packing material. Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
- Checks receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects. This position must know how to access and apply Pratt & Whitney’s policies, procedures and documents that affect product quality and the segregation of non-conforming parts from good parts.
- Position receives product and verifies counts and certifications to Amercon and customer requirements. Receives raw material, mill supplies and subcontracted services. Checks materials requiring certification to a specification or requirement.
- Verifies material counts to packing slips. Enters packing slip details into SAP or delivers packing slips to Accounting. Delivers raw materials, operating supplies, grinding wheels, and tooling to respective areas for proper storage.
- Assures that inspection stamps are present on all products released for use and on certifications and packing slips, as required. Monitor and maintain company internal inventory tracking system. Validate non-delivery issues through inspection.
- This position can also enter all receipts of raw materials, mill supplies and subcontracted services into the receiving module SAP.
- Keep the dock area neat, clean and orderly. Prepare product for shipping to vendor base and final customers. Releases material to production in accordance with manufacturing requirements to support sales plan.
- Understand shop floor visual controls. Receives and unpacks materials and supplies.
- Ability to operate a PIV (Forklift, Stacker, and powered pallet jack) a plus.
- Frequently move about the Shipping/Receiving department and occasionally maneuver material weighing up to 30 lbs. Utilize ergonomic lifting devices, as required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- HS Diploma or GED
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

What is my role type? In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. We’ve introduced role types to help you understand how you will operate in our blended work environment. This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
