Job Purpose:
Accountable for the Supply chain activities to achieve the Site operational performance targets with a strong focus on customer service (OTP-OTR, Late backlog and Quality), Productivity, Inventory and cost. Functional leader responsible for service Improvement and customer experience at site level. Leads supply chain team of site to continuously meet and exceed Premier Customer experience and achieve operational excellence
Key Responsibilites:
On-time delivery to customer
Lead local Planner, Buyer, Customer service and warehouse / material handling team, participate and take lead in High Performance Teams
Direct and indirect tactical buying
Scheduling movement of materials based on stock levels and Customer requests
Monitoring the material storage and space utilization and making recommendations for optimization
Balance of inventory levels and updated systems to maintain necessary information on inventory levels (Raw, WIP and FG stocks) to support production whilst optimizing cash requirement
Optimizing production planning and scheduling to maximize operational efficiencies
Integration in S&OP process for purchased/outsourced products, and Finished Goods
Implements Corporate and Motion Systems Group Supply Chain strategies and initiatives
Ensure communication with Sales-co to ensure the best customer experience and lead implementation of necessary improvements (Automated tools).
Leverages best lean tools for Material flow optimization (MRP/ Kanban/ Consignment/FG)
Permanent interaction with other Parker Divisions (Best Practice Sharing / Benchspaning)
Drive continuous improvement in materials management processes to optimize team efficiencies and engagement
Key Metrics: Safety, OTP-OTR, DSI, Supplier OTD, Supplier Quality, Opportunity Freight Cost
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required:
Mininum 8 years related experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities
4 year college degree in business, engineering, or Supply chain management with certification in supply chain management preferred
Advanced computer skills (JDE or similar ERP software, MS Office)
Team player with experience in direct and lateral leadership
Problem Solving Tools (A3 preferred)
Fluent in French and English, verbally and in writing
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
