Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently looking for a Logistics Support Representative (LSR) to support the P-8A aircraft at Naval Air Station (NAS) Whidbey Island, Washington. This position will be responsible for procuring Support Equipment (SE), replacement parts, and managing logistics to ensure timely delivery to end-user locations in support of the P-8A aircraft operations for the United States Navy and international customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.
Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
Position Responsibilities:
Receive and Process Orders:
Receive support equipment parts order requests from all P-8A operating locations.
Create demands for order management using Warehouse on the Web (WOW).
Maintain visibility on open requests and provide estimated delivery dates (EDDs) back to the requestor.
Inventory Management:
Receive property upon delivery to close out requisitions, prompting payment to suppliers.
Issue property from WOW to remove inventory and prepare for shipment.
Maintain an order log for all requests, noting supplier and part numbers for future reference.
Shipping Coordination:
Prepare assets for shipment prior to delivering them to the local Navy shipping facility.
Deliver property to the shipping facility for shipment to the requesting site.
Communicate with program asset managers regarding the status of orders and shipments.
Logistics Reviews and Meetings:
Support acquisition and logistics review and planning group meetings, including pre-meeting preparation and attendance.
Participate in the Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3) and Reliability Centered Maintenance processes.
Technical Data Management:
Maintain technical data in the Government Online Data (GOLD) and WOW systems.
Ensure property management records are captured accurately, detailing inventorying, receiving, and issuing of serviceable assets.
Reporting and Compliance:
Report weekly activity and safety items, including hazards, near misses, or incidents.
Maintain compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure all records are current, accurate, and complete.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a military or aerospace environment.
Familiarity with P-8A operations and parts management is a plus.

Summary pay range: $79,900 - $108,100.
