JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibility of the Supplier Performance Specialist is to conduct supply chain audit at suppliers facilities. The Supplier Performance Specialist will manage the action plan, recovery plans and improvement plans that will have to be put in place with those suppliers.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Conducts supplier supply chain diagnostics and/or on-request mission analysis
Conducts new supplier assessment and approval process
Manages supplier improvement and action plans as needed
Negotiates with suppliers regarding recovery plans, capabilities and performance for procured products and part returns (for upgrading, Repairs and overhauls)
NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or related. Completed, relevant education from an accredited college or university may be substituted for years of relevant work experience. 1 year of education 2 years of experience.
3 years experience managing vendor/suppliers
Must acquire and maintain Dassault Aviation status of Certified Supply Chain Auditor
Advanced knowledge of supply chain functions and its related components
Advanced knowledge of Excel required including the use of v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.
Knowledge of production and manufacturing principles and processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational, time-management and planning skills
Demonstrated analytical and project management skills
Team player with a receptive disposition, and a desire to contribute to the success of the supply chain operation.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CPIM or similar certification
Experience of supply chain processes
Prior experience or use of Lean/Six Sigma principles
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Significant Domestic travel (up to 50) as well as international trips to France if needed
Must be able to represent the Dassault Group when facing underperforming suppliers
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position typically falls between $64,426.00 and $86,031.00 per year. This position is not eligible for overtime under FLSA guidelines. This position may be eligible for shift differential. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
