Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic - APG Mechanic
Job Description
As a C-130 Flightline APG Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the Aircraft Maintenance Team, responsible for executing and assisting with all aspects of aircraft launch, recovery, inspections, and servicing. Your expertise will be crucial in performing routine troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance of electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems. You will ensure the acceptability of all electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion systems, landing gear, flight control surfaces, periodic inspections, airframe conditions, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape systems. This role demands the removal of panels and associated hardware to access equipment requiring repair.
Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with aircraft launch, recovery, preflight, thru-flight, and Basic Post Flight inspections.
- Conduct ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing.
- Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components.
- Ensure the acceptability of electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, periodic inspections, airframe condition, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape systems.
- Remove panels and associated hardware to access equipment requiring repair.
- Be knowledgeable in aircraft systems operation and maintenance, including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling/defueling, aircraft movement, and launch & recovery.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in C-130 aircraft maintenance preferred.
- Experience in Flight Line Mechanic work preferred.
- A&P license required.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for heavy maintenance tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Aircraft Flightline Experience is preferred.
- Experience with aviation and aircraft maintenance repair is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a climate-controlled facility, under the first shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. This long-term contractor position offers the potential for direct employment in the future.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
