  • Collaborate with other technicians and shop personnel in an MRO environment to support maintenance, repair, and overhaul schedules.
  • Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements, making adjustments or rework as needed.
  • Maintain an organized work area, care for assigned equipment, and adhere to all safety procedures and shop practices.
  • Support depot-level and heavy maintenance activities on aircraft structures and systems as required.

Essential Skills

  • Recent hands-on sheet metal experience in general aviation, fabrication, or similar environments.
  • Proven experience with thin metal work, particularly on flight controls and similar thin-gauge structures.
  • Demonstrated aircraft structural maintenance and aircraft sheet metal repair experience.
  • Experience with aircraft structural assembly and aircraft modification tasks.
  • Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, including forming, bending, and shaping using forms, press brakes, and various shop tools.
  • Strong skills in riveting, drilling, countersinking, and shimming on aircraft structures.
  • Experience working in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility.
  • Familiarity with depot-level and heavy maintenance on aircraft structures and systems.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, technical manuals, and work instructions.
  • Understanding of aircraft systems as they relate to structural components and repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Expereince in aircraft structural maintenance on platforms such as C-130 or similar aircraft.
  • Experience with aircraft modification programs involving structural changes and upgrades.
  • Comfort working with both heavy structures and thin-gauge sheet metal components.
  • Ability to perform precise layout and measurement for complex structural repairs and fabrications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, compliant work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented shop environment.

Why Work Here?

You will work in a climate-controlled facility supporting advanced aerospace and defense programs on a variety of military aircraft platforms.
