Job Title: Aircraft Technician
Job Description
The Airframe Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing airframe systems and components on various aircraft. Working with limited supervision, this position involves testing, adjusting, and repairing tasks in a safe and clean work environment according to manufacturer and customer specifications. The technician is responsible for preparing and completing documentation accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring high-quality inspections and maintenance with no rework. This role requires proficiency in ordering aircraft parts, troubleshooting, and function testing.
Responsibilities
- Assist with testing, adjusting, and repairing airframe systems and components.
- Perform high-quality inspections, servicing, and maintenance of airframe systems.
- Order general aircraft parts as needed.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting, function testing, and repair of aircraft systems.
- Prepare documentation for record-keeping as required by company policy and FAA regulations.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the work order system by completing discrepancies, corrective action statements, and compliance statements.
Essential Skills
- Aircraft maintenance experience, particularly in line maintenance and airframes.
- Ability to perform maintenance on Business Jets such as Bombardier, Falcons, Gulfstream, and Dassault Falcon.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Military experience with sign-offs or nearing completion is acceptable.
- Corporate or Business jet experience is highly preferred.
- Sheet metal or structures experience is advantageous.
- A&P straight or related experience is considered.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $45.00/hr.
