Join a dynamic team where you will be responsible for assembling and modifying aircraft parts and components. You will correct any malfunctions or deficiencies, whether the aircraft is powered or not, and access and reinstall aircraft components that may obstruct task performance. The role involves performing basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and modify aircraft parts and components.
- Correct malfunctions or deficiencies with and without power applied to the aircraft.
- Access and reinstall aircraft components that obstruct task performance.
- Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
Essential Skills- Experience with repair and aircraft maintenance.
- Aviation maintenance, preferably with military aircraft.
- Familiarity with 8610-2 documents.
- Possession of an A&P Certification with 2 years of aircraft maintenance/systems experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Motivation to achieve an A&P license in a 6-week fast-track program.

Work Environment
Work at a service center facility in Wichita, KS, in a non-climate controlled environment where customers frequently visit. Shifts are available across different times, including 1st (day) from 6:42 AM to 3:12 PM, 2nd (evening) from 3:42 PM to 11:12 PM, 3rd (nights) from 11:12 PM to 6:42 AM, and 4th (weekends) Friday to Sunday from 5 AM to 5 PM. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and tennis shoes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $41.00/hr.
