Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (7 AM – 3:30 PM)
Starting Pay : $63.04 per hour
Lead Investigations that Shape Aerospace SafetyPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Safety & Airworthiness Specialist to join a dynamic aerospace team focused on safeguarding product integrity and regulatory compliance. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead critical investigations, guide engineering teams, and drive solutions that directly contribute to safer skies.
Your Mission:Lead cross-functional investigations into FAA compliance issues, voluntary disclosures, and airworthiness non-conformances
Facilitate structured Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations using an aerospace Problem Solving Model
Collaborate closely with engineering, certification experts, executives, suppliers, and the FAA
Develop and implement containment, corrective, and preventative action plans ensuring compliance restoration and sustained product safety
Ensure investigation documentation meets regulatory standards in partnership with the Organizational Designation Authorization (ODA)
Continuously improve investigation processes in collaboration with enterprise safety and compliance teams
What You’ll Bring:Required Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience in aerospace, aviation, engineering, or related fields
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to all organizational levels
Proven leadership in facilitating teams and complex technical investigations
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative to drive resolution and prevention
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using RCCA tools like 5-Whys, Fishbone, or BPSM
Familiarity with FAA regulations, compliance protocols, and ODA procedures (8100.15)
Experience interacting with FAA or other regulatory bodies
Background in commercial aircraft systems design or systems integration (flight controls, avionics, hydraulics, etc.)
Pilot’s license or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License a plus

Pay Details: $63.04 per hour
