NOW HIRING! Brand Ambassador Lead
Brand Ambassadors are responsible for promoting Harbour Air and attracting new customers by engaging with the public in key city locations. This role is a seasonal working lead position that directly sells scenic tours while leading and managing a frontline sales team supporting scenic tour sales in downtown Vancouver.
The Brand Ambassador Lead is responsible for driving revenue, coaching performance, ensuring brand and safety standards are upheld, and acting as the primary on site leader for the Brand Ambassador team. This role is expected to spend a significant portion of time actively selling alongside the team.
WORK HOURS: Shifts will vary based on operational needs. Shifts will include weekends.
LOCATION: Key city locations around Vancouver
TERM: Part-Time Temporary (May 2026 – September 2026)

Key Responsibilities & Expectations
Sales & Customer Engagement
· Lead and motivate a frontline sales team to drive scenic tour sales in high-traffic downtown locations
· Actively engage with the public to generate interest, educate guests, and convert inquiries into bookings
· Support the team with sales coaching, real-time feedback, and on-the-spot problem solving
· Monitor daily sales performance and adjust tactics to maximize conversion and revenue
· Build strong rapport with Harbour Air team (customer services agents, spaneting team, accounting, sales team)
· Set clear daily sales targets and expectations for the team
Brand Representation
· Serve as a visible, knowledgeable brand ambassador representing Harbour Air’s values, service standards, and safety culture
· Ensure consistent, professional brand messaging across all customer interactions
· Lead by example in presentation, tone, and guest experience expectations
· Train team members on brand storytelling, key selling points, and local destination knowledge
· Uphold Harbour Air’s reputation through positive, memorable guest interactions
· Ensure all public facing selling activity aligns with Harbour Air brand guidelines and approved messaging
Reporting & Communication
· Track and report daily and weekly sales results, team performance, and customer feedback
· Communicate insights, trends, and on-the-ground observations to management
· Maintain clear communication with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Terminal staff)
· Support scheduling, staffing updates, and issue escalation as needed
· Contribute feedback to improve sales processes, tools, and guest experience
Safety
· Promote and model a strong safety-first mindset in all public-facing and terminal activities
· Ensure team compliance with Harbour Air safety procedures and operational guidelines
· Identify and address potential safety risks in public engagement areas
· Respond appropriately to incidents or concerns and escalate when required
· Reinforce safe guest flow, queue management, and terminal conduct
Terminal Administration
· Oversee day-to-day operational readiness of sales areas and terminals
· Support POS usage, ticketing accuracy, and inventory control
· Ensure sales tools and materials are well-maintained, stocked, and guest-ready
· Assist with onboarding, training, and scheduling of seasonal team members
· Act as the primary point of contact for terminal-related brand ambassador sales
· Ensure all selling activity complies with municipal bylaws, location permissions, and Harbour Air guidelines
Qualifications & Assets
· 2–3 years of frontline sales experience, ideally consumer facing, experiential, tourism, or street sales. Previous experience leading or supervising a small team preferred
· Proven track record of securing new business and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
· Tourism experience preferred but not required.
· Strong ability to build rapport, communicate clearly, and manage a team
· Highly organized
· Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams.
· Self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
· Role requires standing and walking for extended periods
· Work is primarily outdoors in variable weather conditions
· Availability required on weekends, holidays, and peak tourist periods
· Role is based in high traffic public locations in downtown Vancouver
