What You Will Do
The Project discipline is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily activities of individual contributors and ensuring work is within acceptable levels of quality, cost and safety. Perform and assist with management of budget, staffing and or business/operations results. Accountable for the productivity and actions of their unit. Ensure technical quality and on-time delivery of all processes and services. Analyze and resolve problems, interpret policies and demonstrate solid knowledge of processes and protocols for budgets or human resources management.
Leading planning, execution, monitoring, and control of Production Stators Hardware.
Manage a team project engineers; responsible of resources allocation and tasks assignment.
Development of technical plans and manpower strategies in accordance with program requirements and milestones, including prioritization of work to ensure critical needs are addressed.
Provide project discipline guidance and support for all Phase 5 activities related to Delivery, Initial In-Service & Support within Compression Systems hardware.
Review and approve project discipline deliveries
Work cohesively with other discipline managers to ensure alignment across the project discipline.
Work directly with employees to ensure the development of project engineering technical skills and to design and implement employee’s individual development plans.
Monitors employee’s execution and conduct performance planning reviews.
Ensure employees follow the organizations policies and procedures.
Recommend hiring of new employees, transfers, promotions, salary actions, terminations, performance management and budget recommendations.
Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE tools and support AS9100 efforts.
English (read, write, speak) is required when communicating with customers, co-workers, or supervisors who only speak English.
Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
Travel is up to 10.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
5 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience
Qualifications We Prefer
Demonstration of strong leadership capability
Prior industry experience in working on Compression Systems Hardware focused on Stators components.
Consistent record of collaboration, innovation, and initiative across functions, organizations, and all levels of management
Focus on results and the ability to drive tasks to completion
Eager to learn new things, contribute a fresh perspective, and share knowledge with others
