For complex airport projects, we are looking for an experienced MSI Senior Solution Architect who can understand all relevant airport systems at a high-level and integrate them into a comprehensive MSI offering.

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial composition of all systems, both from the company’s own portfolio (e.g. CUSS, CUTE, SBD, AODB, EES, FIDS, Gates, Boarding) and from subcontracted or third-party solutions (e.g. ACS , CCTV, PAVA). Working closely with internal experts, project management, and external suppliers, you will develop an integrated Design, Build & Deliver concept, including cost calculation. define associated risks and prepare proposal that meet the clients’

• Define the high-level architecture and overall system landscape for airport projects within an MSI approach
• Coordinate technically between in-house systems and subcontracted / third-party solutions
• Work closely with internal subject-matter experts, project management, external suppliers and Sales Leadership
• Support and take ownership within the bid and proposal process (technical and commercial)
• Prepare system overviews, interface concepts, scopes of work, and cost estimates
• Ensure a consistent MSI methodology across Design, Build, and Deliver phases
• Engage with clients and SITA stakeholders to elicit and analyze business requirements and processes.
• Makes recommendations and leads in shaping the solution and the development of the plans/documentation for its subsequent development.
• Accountable for designing solutions in large or complex programs in accordance with business strategies, standards and processes, using existing SITA and third-party capabilities & components as appropriate.
• Development, and re-use, of standardized capabilities & components
• Accountable for business architecture support to internal and external clients.
• Engages with Solution Architect to support and ensure that each project phase meets overall requirements
• Understanding the overall MSI Solution from end to end i.e. Design, Delivery and Support

• Strong high-level understanding of airport systems, including:
  • Passenger Processing Systems (CUSS, CUTE, SBD, EES)
  • Airport Operational Systems (AODB, FIDS, Gates, Boarding)
  • Safety & Security Systems (CCTV, PAVA, Access Control)
• Experience with MSI projects or comparable system integration environments
• Ability to structure, simplify, and communicate complex system landscapes
• Proven experience in bid management, cost estimation, and proposal preparation, including subcontractor integration
• Solid technical understanding of interfaces, dependencies, and responsibilities
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
• Structured, analytical working style with strong customer and result orientation
• Very good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Minimum of 8-10 years’ IT experience or equivalent work experience in a relevant environment

• Airport Construction knowledge is considered an advantage and preferred but not essential
• Ability to take on previously unknown technical requirements e.g. Video Docking Guidance, Intrusion Detection and Master Clock
• High level knowledge of FIDIC contracts is desirable
• Ability to present an overall solution to CIO, COO and CEO both at Airport Operators Level and Construction and Engineering Companies.
• Confident in Project Management Programmes relating to Airport Construction deployment is preferable but not essential.
• Ability to understand the risks and mitigations around MSI Projects.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, etc.) or sufficient work experience to demonstrate proficiency at this level
