Operations Control Policy and Standards Manager
Based in Budapest
Purpose of the position:
The Operations Control Policy and Standards Manager is responsible for maintaining the standardization of policies, procedures, and processes within the Operations Control of Wizz Air Group, with a focus on safety and compliance matters.

Responsibilities:
- Ensuring safe operations control through the establishment of policies, standards, and procedures for Operations Control
- Recommending improvements for processes, systems, and management practices in OCC
- Assessing regulatory information and authority requirements for inclusion in policies, standards, and procedures
- Managing the content and amendments of the Operations Control Manuals and other necessary documents
- Informing Operations Control personnel about updates in policies and procedures
- Liaising with the Safety and Compliance department to ensure relevant safety information is reviewed and incorporated appropriately
- Representing Operations Control in external and internal audits
- Developing compliance inspection plans for OCC
- Monitoring subcontracted activities in liaison with peer functions
- Promoting safety communication, consultation, and awareness among OCC members
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Head of Operations Control

AUTHORITIES OF THE FUNCTION
- Representing the Head of Operations Control in Safety and Compliance meetings
- Creating and modifying departmental processes
- Recommending changes to cross-functional processes
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years working experience, with 2+ years of experience in an operations environment
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Adaptability
- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to a Safety Management System
- Teamwork skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
