Boeing Global Services, Distribution Business, is looking for a dynamic Supplier Quality Manager that will oversee a global supplier quality team under AS9100/9120 standards, responsible for quality assurance processes in the fasteners and hardware manufacturing sector. Key responsibilities include developing quality standards, conducting supplier audits, ensuring compliance with aerospace regulations, holding suppliers accountable to customer requirements, and educating them on best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, supplier relations, and aerospace manufacturing, particularly in fasteners and hardware.
Acquires and manages resources for the team and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with suppliers, stakeholders, peers, partners, customer, and direct reports.
Location: Miami, FL.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the above-mentioned location.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supplier quality management strategies to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers to evaluate their quality systems, processes, and capabilities.
Collaborate with suppliers to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and maintain comprehensive records of supplier quality data.
Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives for quality issues related to supplier products.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, program management, procurement, and operations, to ensure alignment to quality expectations and requirements.
Provide training and support to suppliers on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality management practices.
Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
Conduct training sessions and educate employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams in implementing quality processes and resolving quality-related issues.
Establish and maintain quality policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
8 -10 years of related work experience
Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
Experience in supplier quality management within the aerospace industry, specifically in fasteners and hardware manufacturing.
Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and assessments, supplier performance recovery
4-6 years of supervisory experience
Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
In-depth knowledge of drawings, MIL-Standards, and customer requirements
Knowledgeable of AS9100/9120 Standards
Proficient computer skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficient communication skills regarding performance, coaching, discipline
FAA, CAA, EASA Experience
Travel:
This position requires traveling up to 50 of the time.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)
Bachelor’s Degree – Engineering, Quality Management or related field of study
Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100, AS9120, ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
