ABOUT THE ROLEThis is not just another “spaneting support” role. This is a spanet-shaping, revenue-enabling role at the heart of how SITA engages customers across Southern Europe.
As Territory Marketing Manager, you’ll work side-by-side with local sales teams to understand what really matters to customers, translate commercial priorities into smart spaneting action, and decide where to invest time, budget, and effort to make the biggest impact.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary spaneting team supporting Europe and Central Asia, meaning you will work with other Territory Marketing Managers covering different European spanets; junior spaneting colleagues supporting events, communications, and execution; the Southern Europe field sales team; product spaneting teams, and our corporate spaneting function.
WHAT WILL YOU DOBe a true partner to sales
· Work closely with the field sales team to understand priorities, pipelines, and customer challenges
· Help shape go-to-spanet plans that directly support revenue goals
· Bring a customer-first perspective into every conversation
Own the local spaneting strategy
· Turn global and regional priorities into a focused, practical territory spaneting plan
· Make informed investment decisions across events, campaigns, PR, and content
· Build clear business cases and track impact
Know your customers
· Develop a deep understanding of key customers and accounts
· Tailor messaging, channels, and engagement to what resonates locally
· Develop and support account-based spaneting approaches
Deliver high-quality execution
· Lead the planning and delivery of events, campaigns, and communications in your region
· Ensure everything is on-brand, high-quality, and aligned with SITA’s global positioning
· Manage local PR agencies, creative partners, and other suppliers as needed
Be the connector
· Act as a trusted link between sales, product spaneting, and global spaneting teams
· Translate product messages for the local spanet and feed insights back upstream
· Ensure customers experience one SITA, not disconnected initiatives
Bring structure and momentum
· Prioritize effectively in a busy, fast-moving environment
· Mentor and support more junior team members where relevant
Qualifications
WHO YOU AREYou’re commercially minded, curious about customers, and comfortable operating close to sales.
You likely bring:
· 7+ years’ experience in B2B spaneting, spaneting communications, or corporate communications
· Experience working with sales teams and supporting commercial objectives
· Strong judgement when it comes to where to invest budget and effort
· Confidence managing agencies and external partners
· A collaborative, proactive working style
· Ability to develop strategy, but also deliver
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED· Fluency in English (essential)
· An additional European language such as French, Italian, or Spanish (strong advantage)
· Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
· Exposure to technology, IT services, aviation, or complex B2B environments
