Synopsis
Development and maintenance of international pay scales and reward packages.
Ensure compliant benefits, entitlements and conditions of employment in line with industrial instruments and international labour law requirements.
Design and implementation of innovative reward and HR policies in the UAE and internationally
Accountabilities
Act as main contact for escalations relating global and UAE HR policies, international employment contracts and country-specific compensation and benefit queries. Conduct policy, compensation and benefits benchmarking and analysis across different countries as and when required and using various data sources. Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for senior management. Development of employment contract templates in the UAE and internationally in collaboration with Legal. Development and update of country Pay and Benefits Manuals and Employee Handbooks, where required, ensuring alignment with company policies, legislative requirements and industry best practices.Formulate recommendations for compensation adjustments for internationally based employees as part of annual country review cycle.Design compensation and benefit frameworks for start-up stations by liaising with Legal and HR Business Partners and utilising external benchmarking data to ensure Etihad is positioned well to attract and retain the best talent in new markets. Support various reward projects and day-to-day activities such as survey inputs, data analysis, review of collective labour agreement and employment conditions, validation of Payroll pay elements and system configuration for compliance with country requirements etc.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s level education in a Business or Human Resource discipline with a good background in employment laws preferred
- Experience in compensation, benefits and international policies and labour law requirements gained over a period of at least 5 years. At least three years working experience for a Company with an international network.
