Manufacturing Engineer (x3)
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support both operational and development programs to enable and deliver zero-defect projects. This role is responsible for implementing robust, capable manufacturing process technologies across materials, tooling, fabrication, and assembly within an aerospace composites environment. The role is based at their Tallassee, Alabama site and relocation assistance is available if required.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop technical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges.
- Provide engineering support for production integration and vendor-related issues.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to eliminate non-conformances.
- Design and implement tooling and production planning using standard ME tools.
- Support product development, quoting, tooling, configuration changes, and first article development.
- Deliver measurable results aligned with program and value stream goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain strong working relationships.
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years proven ability in manufacturing engineering.
- Proven ability in aerostructures (metallics and/or composites).
- Strong continuous improvement mindset and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently across diverse manufacturing environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to mentor or coach team members.
- Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and sound judgment.
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge is a plus.
- S. Person status (Citizen, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee) per ITAR requirements.
