PDS Tech Commercial, a Military Friendly® Employer, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support afterspanet operations in Rocky Mount, NC. About the Role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting repair and overhaul operations—not design. You’ll work closely with technicians on the shop floor, develop repair instructions, create tooling, and improve process efficiency to ensure high-quality, timely service for aerospace components.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test mechanical components and tooling for repair operations.
Support technicians with real-time troubleshooting and process guidance.
Create and revise repair instructions, documentation, and work scopes.
Improve process efficiency and reduce turnaround time for repairs.
Apply engineering principles to support the fabrication, installation, and repair of mechanical systems.
Interpret and update technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, repair, or overhaul.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software (NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work under supervision and follow established procedures.
Preferred:
Experience with VBA, test software, Jira, Smartsheets, or SAP.
Lean Six Sigma certification or Agile/Scrum experience.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $47.00 per hour
