What are your contributions to the team?
• Elaborate, participate, maintain and ameliorate an industrial engineering strategy
• Participate in the elaboration of production activities sequences for assembly stations
• Be responsible to balance manpower needs according to organizational needs
• With the participation of the team, you will define labor standards, balance and configure the positions and the assembly line to accommodate the different pace changes, analyze and make observations and take measures to determine the ratios of value-added activities
• Evaluate and propose key indicators to measure productivity of the assembly process and the performance measure
• Identify and propose improvement projects as well as participate and conduct Kaizen workshops in order to solve problems and find solutions, while engaging the team members
• Able to develop comprehensive strategies for industrial engineering
• Elaborate work charters, anteriority diagrams, operations sequences, performance calculations, elaboration of manpower needs, material flow analysis, work measurement, acceleration or decrease of pace
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience :
• You have an Industrial Engineering degree, Master in industrial Engineering (an asset)
• You demonstrate skills in project management
• You have a minimum of 3 years of pertinent experience
• You are a very good communicator and have good interpersonal skills (French, English)
• You have experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
• You have an ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks
• You master industrial engineering techniques and value-added concepts (essential).
• You are recognized as having a high level of initiative, autonomy, and innovation and to have practical sense
• You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools
• You master diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
