AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Kinston, North Carolina that is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles.
The Quality Technical Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality systems and processes. This role involves analyzing product and process data to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Essential Functions:
- Implement processes, systems, and equipment that ensure the quality, reliability, and system safety of company or procured products and services
- Provides quality system analysis to validate the integrity of quality decisions that affect products and services
- Analyzes contractual, product definition, and specification requirements
- Tests products, processes, equipment, and measurement systems
- Ensures that resulting processes provide for configuration management
- Participates in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspectability, reliability, safety, Quality System integrity, and business process management objectives are met
- Supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate nonconformance to design specifications
- Interfaces with company employees, suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements
- Uses statistical methodologies to ensure that specified levels of safety, reliability, and process capability are achieved, maintained, or improved
Requirements
- Responsible for the quality interface between the customer and manufacturing for defect resolution and reduction
- Perform root cause problem solving by leading multiple, simultaneous cross-functional teams that include plant Operations, Quality, Engineering, Sourcing and Program
- Follow and track all actions to satisfactory completion and collection of objective evidence
- Communicate status and ensure timely completion of manufacturing RCCAs
- Serve as subject matter expert for Quality Engineering problem-solving tools
- Design, program and implement a fully functional RCCA application
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree is preferred
