The Brand Ambassador is a frontline, guest-facing sales role responsible for promoting and selling Harbour Air’s award-winning scenic tours in high-traffic downtown Vancouver locations. Brand Ambassadors operate under the day to day direction of the Brand Ambassador Lead.

As a Brand Ambassador, you will engage with locals and visitors, create excitement around Harbour Air’s unique flight experiences, and convert interest into bookings while consistently delivering a high quality guest experience and representing the Harbour Air brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.

This is a seasonal role (May – September) ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with the public, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are passionate about tourism, aviation, and Vancouver.


WORK HOURS: Shifts will vary based on operational needs. Shifts will include weekends.

LOCATION: Key city locations around Vancouver

TERM: Part-Time Temporary and Full-Time Temporary options may be available (May 2026 – September 2026)

DEPARTMENT: Sales

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

Sales & Customer Engagement

· Proactively engage with the public to promote and sell Harbour Air scenic tours

· Educate guests on tour options, flight routes, pricing, and local sights.

· Work toward daily individual and team sales targets set by the Brand Ambassador Lead

· Deliver a welcoming, memorable guest experience that drives conversions

· Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets

· Support guests with bookings, questions, and general inquiries

· Take coaching and feedback from the Brand Ambassador Lead to improve sales performance

Brand Representation

· Act as a positive and professional ambassador of the Harbour Air brand

· Communicate key brand messages, values, and unique selling points

· Maintain a polished appearance and friendly, confident demeanor

· Share local knowledge and recommendations to enhance the guest experience

· Follow approved brand messaging and selling guidelines at all times

Operations & Administration

· Accurately process bookings using point-of-sale systems

· Handle cash, credit card transactions, and basic sales reporting

· Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready sales area

· Follow all Harbour Air policies, procedures, and operational guidelines

· Escalate issues, guest concerns, or operational challenges to the Brand Ambassador Lead as required

Safety & Compliance

· Promote a safety-first culture in all guest interactions

· Follow established safety procedures and terminal protocols

· Assist with guest flow, queue management, and general safety awareness

· Immediately report safety concerns or incidents to the Brand Ambassador Lead or Terminal team


Qualifications & Skills

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills

· Sales-oriented mindset with a passion for customer service

· Comfortable approaching and engaging with the public

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Reliable, punctual, and professional

· Previous sales, tourism, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset

· Willingness to take direction, coaching, and feedback in a performance driven sales environment

· Must be able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Seasonal position with flexible scheduling

· Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak tourism periods is required

· Schedule and location assignments are determined by business needs and directed by the Brand Ambassador Lead
