Play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time airport operations across Spain and Portugal. You will be responsible for supervising ground handling operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving performance to meet SAS high standards. In this role, youll be at the frontline of our operation, solving problems, optimizing processes, and delivering top-notch service to our passengers.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will oversee airport operations for Palma de Mallorca Airport and support other airports in Spain and Portugal, two strategically important markets for SAS. You will tackle the challenge of ensuring punctuality and safety for over 6,000 annual departures. As the main point of contact at the airport, you will work closely with ground handling partners, subcontractors, airport authorities, and regulatory bodies to optimize daily operations and solve issues efficiently. Your ability to collaborate and lead by example will be key to maintaining high standards.

In this role you will report to the Station Manager and Regional Manager.
You will be part of a high-performing, close-knit team within SAS Global Line Stations, under the Ground Operations division. Our team values collaboration, operational excellence, and proactive problem-solving. We work together to deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused airport services while driving continuous improvement.
It is also advantageous if you have previous experience in a leadership or managerial role.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires flexibility, as the work schedule includes weekends and public holidays. Occasional travel, sometimes on short notice, may also be required.
