About the role
Develop strategy to serve leisure customers through TO, OTA and Specialty, Retail and Consolidator channels and hold responsibility for leisure channel targets on a global level. Oversee the management of products for TO, OTA and Specialty, Retail and Consolidator channels. Ensure effective collaboration with the Regions to support efforts to maintain / improve sales channel and segment performance. Oversee Global OTA Account management to meet / exceed revenue targets and optimize cost of sale.
Key Accountabilities include:
Strategic / Operational
- Work with SVP Commercial Strategy to actively input insights from Leisure Channel Management into the development and implementation of the distribution strategy.
- Develop TO, OTA and Speciality, Retail and Consolidator channel strategies to drive sales performance, maximize revenue contribution and meet assigned targets.
- Ensure channel strategies prepare the organization for future trends, including evolution, merging and harvesting of channels.
- Develop and ensure that the right structure, standards and processes are in place in order to facilitate the development, management and growth of TO, OTA and Speciality, Retail and Consolidator sales.
- Translate performance objectives into departmental KPI targets.
- Oversee execution of TO, OTA and Speciality, Retail and Consolidator channel strategies.
- Hold responsibility for leisure channel targets at a global level and work with Reporting and Analytics on weekly and monthly analysis regarding channel performance.
- Oversee management of products for TO, OTA and Speciality, Retail and Consolidator channels.
- Oversee Global OTA Account management to meet / exceed revenue targets.
- Responsible for effective monitoring of account performance against budgeted expectations.
- Responsible for ensuring team works with local sales teams to identify opportunities to maximise sales.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications
About you
- Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
- 10+ years of job-related experience.
- Experience in airline/travel industry.
- Experience in strategy development.
- Must have strong commercial background.
- Ability to make informed data-driven insights.
- Excellent presentation skills to senior managers and executives.
