Position Summary
Responsible for the plant’s testing processes. Develops and documents new test procedures and the tools required in the process, provides support to the production team, and leads high‑performance teams.
Responsibilities
Develop test equipment (fixtures, software, control cabinets, etc.) that ensures product functionality when it is delivered to the customer.
Modify and maintain software used in test equipment.
Ensure that the test method is qualified and documented.
Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) on developed test equipment.
Document test processes.
SupportProvide support to production in troubleshooting issues with test equipment.Use problem‑solving tools for issues related to test equipment.Request support from Quality, Manufacturing, Materials, and Production as needed to identify and resolve testing issues.
Continuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement in test processes.Participate in continuous improvement projects (HPTs).Manage and use continuous improvement tools to identify opportunities to make the system more efficient.
GeneralParticipate in PPAP pilot runs.Design and build fixtures, jigs, and tools required for testing.Create drawings for tools, fixtures, and jigs that are manufactured in the plant.
