Tasks

What will you be responsible for?

As a Grinding Operator, you will perform high-precision grinding on aircraft components using cylindrical and surface grinding machines, ensuring all work meets technical specifications and company procedures.

You will work independently, read and interpret technical drawings, maintain a Practical Experience Record (PER), and may support the training of personnel.
All duties must comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations, and you will contribute to continuous improvement within the workshop.

Requirements

What you’ll need?

GCSE level education (or equivalent)
Fluent written and spoken English
Experience with internal/external, cylindrical, and surface grinding machines
CNC grinding knowledge preferred
Aerospace experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Effective communicator, able to work across teams
Performs well under pressure
Team-oriented and eager to learn
